Our refurbishment process, in seven stages

01/ 07 Sourcing

Most of what we sell had a desk job before.

We buy from companies refreshing their fleets, from lease returns and in bulk lots. Every unit is logged the day it arrives and given an asset tag that follows it through everything that comes next.

  • Corporate refreshes
  • Lease returns
  • Bulk lots
  • Dealer trade-ins

02/ 07 Inspection

We look before we plug anything in.

Casing, hinges, screen, keyboard, ports. Every scuff and missing screw goes on the unit’s record, so the grade it gets later is based on what we found — not on a guess.

  • Casing & hinges
  • Display glass
  • Keys & trackpad
  • Ports & slots

03/ 07 Hardware testing

Then every part has to prove itself.

Battery, storage, memory, processor and thermals, display, keyboard, wireless and every port — tested one by one, with results logged against the asset tag. Parts that fail are replaced, or the unit doesn’t move on.

04/ 07 Data sanitization

The last owner’s data stays with the last owner.

Every drive is wiped, and the wipe is verified, before a device goes anywhere else. Nothing from a machine’s previous life survives into its next one.

  • Full overwrite
  • Verification pass
  • Logged per device

05/ 07 Cleaning

Then it gets a proper clean.

Vents and fans blown out, keyboards and screens cleaned, casing wiped down, old labels off. Small cosmetic fixes where they make sense.

  • Dust-out
  • Deep clean
  • Label removal
  • Touch-ups

06/ 07 Grading

Graded honestly. Priced to match.

Each unit gets a cosmetic grade based on what we recorded at inspection. Functionally, every grade is the same: it works.

A
Minimal signs of use. Looks close to new.
B
Light marks or scuffs. Fully working.
C
Visible wear. Fully working, priced lower.

07/ 07 Quality check

One more check, then it ships.

A final pass against the unit’s test record before it’s packed. If anything doesn’t match, it goes back on the bench.

  • Record matched

That was one laptop. Everything we sell goes through the same bench.

For businesses

Retiring old equipment? We’ll take it from here.

Hardware that’s reached the end of its life on your books usually still has value in the market. We collect it, wipe it, and either refurbish it for resale or pass it to a recycler from our partner network — and you get a clear account of what happened to every unit.

  1. 01

    List it

Send us what you have — models, quantities, rough condition. A spreadsheet is fine. So is a photo of a storeroom.

  2. 02

    We collect

Packed and logged at your site, so every unit is accounted for from the moment it leaves.

  3. 03

    Data wiped

Every drive sanitized and verified before anything else happens to it.

  4. 04 — Reuse

    Value back to you

Units with life left are refurbished and resold, so you recover value from equipment you’d already written off.

  5. 04 — Recycle

    Responsible disposal

If something can’t be reused, we hand it to a recycler from our partner network, who takes care of its disposal.

Who we work with

Built for people who buy more than one.

  • CorporatesFleet refreshes and end-of-life collection, handled start to finish.
  • EnterprisesVolume, consistency, and a process your compliance team can follow.
  • StartupsKit out a growing team with reliable machines for a fraction of new.
  • DealersGraded stock in quantity, described accurately so you can resell with confidence.
  • InstitutionsSchools, colleges and public bodies making budgets go further.
  • ResellersA steady supply partner with transparent grading and honest condition reports.

How we work

Four things we don’t compromise on.

  1. 01

    Dependable products

Tested part by part and graded against written criteria. What we describe is what arrives.

  2. 02

    Transparent process

Ask what happened to any unit, at any step, and you’ll get a straight answer.

  3. 03

    Sensible pricing

Refurbished should mean real savings. We price by grade and condition, not by guesswork.

  4. 04

    Long-term relationships

Consistent stock, consistent grading, the same people on the phone. We’d rather be your supplier for years than your vendor for a week.

Sustainability

Reuse first. Dispose responsibly.

The greenest laptop is usually the one that already exists. Every device we put back into service is one less that has to be made from scratch — and when something truly can’t be reused, we hand it to one of the recyclers in our partner network.

  1. ExtendRefurbish and redeploy wherever the hardware allows.
  2. RecoverHelp businesses recover value from equipment they’ve retired.
  3. RecyclePass what can’t be reused to recyclers in our partner network.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Something else? Ask us directly.

Yes. We buy from businesses, institutions and dealers — single lots or whole fleets. Send us a list and we’ll come back with an offer.

Every storage device is wiped, and the wipe is verified, before the unit is refurbished, resold or handed to a recycler. If you need records for your own compliance, ask and we’ll walk you through what we provide.

A — minimal signs of use. B — light marks, fully working. C — visible wear, fully working. The grade describes appearance; every grade has passed the same functional tests.

Yes. We work with dealers, resellers and organisations buying in volume. Tell us the specs and quantities you’re after and we’ll put together what we can supply.

Warranty terms depend on the product and grade. We confirm them in writing with every quote, so you know exactly what’s covered before you buy.

If it can’t be refurbished or resold, we pass it to one of the recyclers in our partner network, who takes care of its disposal.
